Since its creation in 2004, MCC has transformed lives and created opportunities in its partner countries by focusing on one mission: reducing poverty through economic growth. Since inception, MCC has completed 25 compacts with its partners totaling more than $8.3 billion. In fiscal year 2018, MCC closed programs in Indonesia, Malawi, and Cabo Verde, continued implementation of 8 compacts, and signed a threshold program with Kosovo.

MCC continues to broaden and deepen its partnerships with partner country governments, public donors, the private sector, and other U.S. Government agencies to further its impact and the sustainability of its investments.
