High-quality data collection, especially rigorous calibration of technical equipment, provides confidence in evaluation results. Roughness measurements were made right after road completion and indicated a very high-quality road. However, these measurements were performed with bump integrators for which no calibration records were available, and the results of the measurement were questioned. The evaluator conducted a thorough calibration process for the roughness measurement for the first time in Moldova and the results showing a high-quality road are indisputable.
