Classroom observation is an important tool to better understand changes in time on task. Time on task was a key intermediate outcome in the school rehabilitation program logic that the MCC team felt would lead to improvements in learning. However, the evaluation data is based on survey responses from teachers, which may underestimate the time spent on classroom instruction. Future evaluations should consider deploying classroom observation tools more often.
