Appointed to lead MCC by President Obama, Dana had more than two decades of experience in law and public policy before joining the agency. As MCC’s first woman CEO, Dana oversaw the agency through multiple signings and closings in addition to its tenth anniversary. Her expertise on international affairs and policy guided MCC towards a new chapter in ensuring the agency’s mission to developing country-owned and country-led initiatives. Dana’s innovative mind, openness to collaboration, and dedication to service all continue to inspire the success and impact of MCC today.
Dana will be remembered for her visionary leadership and her unwavering support for agency colleagues and our country partners. The MCC community of colleagues past and present, partners and advocates all mourn alongside and offer sincere condolences to Dana’s family and friends.
