Abdel Maliky is the Deputy Vice President of the Department of Administration and Finance (A&F) at the Millennium Challenge Corporation. He supports the Vice President of A&F in oversight of MCC’s Administrative Services Division; Audit, Risk, and Compliance; Contracts and Grants Management; Domestic and International Security; Financial Management Division; Human Resources; and Office of the Chief Information Officer for the agency.
Mr. Maliky is a seasoned executive who brings over 25 years of diverse experiences to MCC. Prior to joining MCC, Mr. Maliky held several positions with the District of Columbia Government as the Chief Administrative Officer at the Department of Buildings and before that as Senior Deputy Director at the Department of Forensic Sciences. In those capacities, he managed administrative and financial operations, including facilities management, support services, human resources, risk management, quality assurance, audit, investigations, special projects, programs, finance and budgeting, procurement, contract administration, information technology, forensic intelligence and cyber operations.
Mr. Maliky has also worked with private sector and nonprofit organizations where he implemented and managed diverse programs such as advocating for civil and human rights, programs and projects that promotes economic development, international religious freedom, human and civil rights, educational initiatives, and as a project manager and consultant providing actuarial services and advice to Fortune 500 companies.
Mr. Maliky is currently finishing an Ed.D., Doctoral Education in Adult Learning and Leadership from Columbia University and holds a M.Sc., in Actuarial Science – Mathematical Finance from Boston University; and an M.B.A. in Business Administration and a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Aviation Management from Averett University.
