Dr. Jake Grover is a Senior Advisor at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in the Office of the CEO. He was previously a Senior Policy Advisor in the Department of Policy & Evaluation. Before MCC, Jake worked at USAID in the Bureau of Policy, Planning, and Learning’s Office of Policy and completed details at MCC and Treasury as a Presidential Management Fellow. Before conducting research on US foreign aid reform at the Center for Global Development, he was an Economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
Jake recently received his Doctor of International Affairs from Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), and his research was entitled "Country selectivity in aid allocation: Evidence on need and effectiveness." He previously earned a Master of International Public Policy and a Certificate in International Development from SAIS. Jake also has a Master of Public Policy in International Policy and Development from Georgetown University and a B.S. in Economics and a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from The Ohio State University.
