Brian Forni joined MCC in 2016 and has worked to strengthen MCC’s relationships with Congress, NGO’s, businesses, government officials, and the U.S. public. As Managing Director, Mr. Forni will oversee MCC’s engagements with Capitol Hill, the development of legislative strategies, and will spearhead the agency’s appropriations request to support MCC’s mission and work across the globe.
During his time at MCC, Mr. Forni ensured MCC’s appropriations from Congress increased, and he secured passage of the AGOA and MCA Modernization Act, facilitating MCC’s ability to make cross-border investments and codifying additional improvements to agency operation.
Prior to MCC, Mr. Forni worked on the U.S. House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee, as a Consultant with the Turkish Embassy in Washington, D.C., and for a Member of Congress from his native Massachusetts. During this time, he provided strategic counsel to senior Members of Congress and government officials, wrote and passed legislation and appropriations, and created fellowships programs and working groups.
Mr. Forni resides in Virginia. In his spare time, he enjoys visiting family and friends, drinking red wine, reading, travel, and Italian food.
