I join all Americans in offering our deepest condolences to the families of the victims of this terrible earthquake. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and the people of Nepal in the wake of this tragedy. I have seen the strength and resilience of the Nepali people firsthand, and, while those qualities are being tested, the U.S. Government stands ready to help Nepal in its time of need.
