Khalia Mounsey is a Senior Program Officer in the Department of Compact Operation’s Africa division. She supports program operations by managing multidisciplinary teams in project design and implementation, leading diplomatic engagement with country partners, and backstopping country mission offices.
Prior to joining MCC in September 2008, Ms. Mounsey worked in government and private sector contracting, delivering technical assistance for HIV/AIDS programs and leading health and science research and policy programs. She has experience working in social impact programs across Africa, Latin America, and domestically, and is proficient in Portuguese and Spanish, with a working knowledge of French.
Ms. Mounsey has a degree in public policy and biology from Duke University and a Master’s in Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
